The Lady Hoofers

The Lady Hoofers Tap Ensemble is Philadelphia's only all female tap company. Founded by Kat Richter and Pamela Hetherington in order to raise the profile of rhythm tap, the ensemble brings together local dancers and musicians to create both original choreography and improvised works. In addition to performances, workshops and lecture demonstrations, The Lady Hoofers Tap Ensemble hosts a series of bi-monthly Master Classes taught by renown guest artists and weekly Open Company Classes at our rehearsal studio in Plymouth Meeting, The Institute of Dance Artistry.

Auditions!

The Lady Hoofers will be auditioning female dancers ages 9-18 for our Holiday Concert!  Auditions will be held on June 16th and June 20th at the Institute of Dance Artistry.  Click here for more information!

Auditions for dancers aged 18+ will be held this coming fall.
