Our internship program offers hands on training in arts administration for college students and recent graduates in the Philadelphia area. Areas of focus include marketing, fundraising, design, event operations, production, costuming and education.
Interns are expected to serve approximately 5 hours per week for the duration of the semester. With the exception of performances and special events, hours are flexible and some work can be completed from home.
In addition to receiving college credit, interns will receive a one year Individual Membership to DanceUP paid for by The Lady Hoofers (which will provide access to additional educational, networking and scholarship opportunities) and complimentary tickets to performances. Successful candidates will also be encouraged to develop and implement an individual project or program to meet their professional and/or academic goals, depending on their area(s) of interest.
