First Company Dancer
Britney Kennedy joined The Lady Hoofers in 2016 and was promoted to First Company in 2018. Since joining the ensemble, she has performed in numerous high-profile performances in the Philadelphia area, a personal favorite being New Jersey Tap Ensemble's 25th Anniversary alongside tap legends Brenda Bufalino, Evan Ruggiero, and Savion Glover. Originally from Hershey, PA, Britney trained in many styles of dance as a young student, though tap was always her passion. She has studied under Mike Minery, Sheila Barker, Germaine Salsberg, Barbara Duffy, and Laine Munroe. Most recently, Britney was recognized by The Dance Enthusiast as an "audience favorite" of The Lady Hoofers' annual holiday concert, THE TAPCRACKER, performing in the lead role of the Queen of Versailles. Aside from her work with The Lady Hoofers, Britney founded and currently serves as CEO of OnPoint Nutrition, which was recognized as Philadelphia Magazine’s Best of Philly 2018.
