We had a great time dancing for the third consecutive year at West Park Arts Fest. The annual outdoor festival features live music and dance, plus local vendors selling food and crafts. West Park Cultural Center is a community based nonprofit that uses arts and culture as a central tool in programs that help youth tap their creative and academic potential, and where residents can access the arts, education, and other development opportunities. We're proud to support an organization with a mission so in line with our own!
For the second year in a row, The Lady Hoofers performed in Fairmount Park as part of the West Park Arts Fest. This year's dancers included Roger Lee Dance, Project Moshen, Putty Dance Project, Universal Dance and Drum Ensemble, Challes, Penn Chinese Dance Club, and fellow hoofer Jaye Allison.
The Lady Hoofers were pleased to sponsor the West Park Arts Fest by sharing our portable tap floors with several local dancers. Katie Budris, Kelsey Zolochik and Meg Sarachan performed a short selection of works before joining Theresa DiSipio and co-founder Pamela Hetherington at Tap Teaser 9.
